An ideal Innovator is a social innovator who is ready to test a product or idea in a development lab setting. We fund novice entrepreneurs, for up to six months, to implement and adapt pioneering social products in the Deshpande Foundation Sandbox. If the product shows promise of success, the Foundation may choose to fund Innovators on a long-term basis. The Innovators project also includes teams of students from universities who are passionate about making an impact in the Sandbox through a development related innovation
