Grantmaking

The Deshpande Foundation gives grants to nonprofits and institutions that create transformative change through innovation, leadership, and execution. Our nonprofit grants are for specific programs in the Health, Education, Agriculture, and Livelihoods fields, while our institutional grants are to institutions that use diverse methods to facilitate broad-based movements of social change. Our grantmaking values leadership, passion, insight, excellence, and collaboration.

Our grantmaking team works closely with our Partners to develop an ecosystem that enables growth and ensures impact, both within the Sandbox and beyond.
